Here’s what you looked like last year, Halloween, 2014.
And here’s how you looked tonight. Walking up to your very first house.
We visited Mommy’s friend. You were dressed like Abby Cadabby.
We had an astronaut costume for you, but you’ve come to love Abby Cadabby, so we dressed you like her.
Last week, we took you to Busch Gardens in your Abby costume.
There you met some of your favorite Sesame Street characters.
When you saw Elmo, you hugged him in solemn silence, like a long lost army buddy.
You hugged him for a very long time.
You also met Zoe.
And Cookie Monster.
And the Count.
Tonight we went trick-or-treating at a nearby church.
(You scratched your nose a few days ago. Daddy was cleaning the pool, and you were right next to me, and then you did something, and your nose was scrapped. That’s what’s on your nose in these photos.)
You got the hang of trick-or-treating pretty quickly.
You also bounced in the bouncy house, that made Daddy very nervous because of the other kids in there with you.
After the church, you and Daddy went trick-or-treating at a few houses in our neighborhood.
You were able to say, “treee-treet,” but not always at the right time.
You could say, “tank ooo,” after you got candy, but you said it softly.
After trying to say thank you, you blew everyone a kiss.
You’re very good at blowing kisses.
You did a great job trick-or-treating. By the time we got to the last house, you were able to do it all by yourself.
You had a very happy Halloween.
