Yesterday, we learned that social services in your state finally mailed the paperwork to our state earlier this week. We expect to be contacted by our county social services later this week.
We’re nearly done with our portion of the paperwork. And we decided today that we needed to paint your room, to make it look fresh and new.
Also, we bought you more clothes today, which we’ll mail to you Monday. The family taking care of you says you’re growing, and need new clothes!
We also bought a special Independence Day outfit for you. It’s hanging in your closet, waiting for you.
We’ve waited three months since you were born, but we feel like we’re finally making progress.
